The first penalty corner for USA that opens the score. Penalty corner for ARG, excellent shot covered by the goalkeeper. Penalty Corner for ARG, who doesn’t use the opportunity for scoring, hitting the ball by the side of the goal. Penalty corner for USA who scores the fourth goal two minutes before the half time. USA scored the fifth goal when the first half ended. The second half has started and the score remains the same. ARG had the chance to score but let it go, and USA used every opportunity available to score. ARG was being pressured by USA, when they got hold of the ball and crossed to the other circle to score a marvelous goal and open its score. Four minutes to the end of the first half and USA earns a penalty corner which is saved by Uruguayan defense. Another penalty corner for USA which ends in the second goal of the match. The second half started and two minutes into the game USA scored the third goal because of a penalty corner. Another penalty corner for USA, who scored the fourth goal. Six minutes for the end of the game and the two goalkeepers were given red card. Penalty corner for URU that could not score five minutes before the end. Less than a minute to end and URU earned a penalty corner, which allowed URU to open the score. USA WOMEN vs PERU - SEMIFINALS: Third match of the day for women’s semi-final USA and Peru. USA scored in the first minute. The first ten minutes of the game have been the attack of USA and the defense of Peru, who is doing a good job of it. The first half has been all the same, no penalty corners, and USA pressuring but not being able to get past the Peruvian defense. The second half started with a penalty corner for USA, who scored the second goal of the match. Another penalty corner for USA, who could not get past the Peruvian defense. Ten minutes to end and USA continues attacking. Peru is not dangerous but defends its circle in such a way that its rival cannot get through. Friday, November 21: USA WOMEN vs PERU: The third day and the first match are women USA and Peru. The game started and the two teams were very similar, there was not a marked difference between them. First penalty corner for USA, which did not cause much danger in the Peruvian goal. The game continued until USA dominated the ball in the center and went to the Peruvian circle scoring the first goal of the match when there is 8 minutes to go to the end of the first half. Penalty Corner for the US who scores the second goal. Five minutes to the end the first half, penalty corner for USA, who scored the third goal. Less than a minute for the end of the first half and USA has another opportunity to score with a penalty corner, not being able to get it. Second half has just started and Peru gained a penalty corner, the ball went right past the side post. Five minutes into the second half and USA scored a marvelous goal which deflected into the goal, putting the match 4-0. The second half has almost finished and USA scores the fifth goal, coming by the side to the end of field hitting the ball from the side to the first post. The game finished with a Penalty corner for USA who scored the sixth goal defeating PERU 6-0. USA MEN vs URUGUAY: The fourth match of the day is for men, USA and Uruguay. First Penalty corner of the match for USA, who opened the score. One minute later USA earns their second goal in their second penalty corner. After the first two goals for USA, there was a lot of fighting in the midfield but no definition. Three minutes to end the first half and USA earned another penalty corner creating no danger for the URU goal. The first half has ended and the partial result is of 2-0. The second half started and USA earned a penalty corner that was stopped by the goalkeeper. Number 14 from URU received a yellow card and USA scored their third goal. The game continued and URU counterattacked discounting the difference by scoring the first goal. Another penalty corner for USA puts them 4-1. Ten minutes to the end USA scores their fifth goal from a penalty corner. Five minutes for the game to end and it has become very exciting. Although URU is under in the score it is making it very hard for the USA team. Penalty corner for URU, which ends in penalty stroke. URU scores the second goal putting the match 5-2. One minute to go and USA has a penalty corner, which scores the seventh goal. Penalty corner for URU who scores the third goal. URU lost 7 to 3 but an excellent match. USA WOMEN vs CHILE: The seventh match of the day is USA and Chile women. USA is leading in the first minutes and has scored the first goal through the first penalty corner. The game was being played in the middle and as soon as USA got through they had a chance for the second penalty corner. This second penalty corner was not successful. With eight minutes for the end of this first half, and USA continues pressuring not giving CHI the chance to go further than midfield. Penalty Corner for USA which does not cause any danger in CHI circle. The second half has started and USA has earned a penalty corner with no luck for scoring. Penalty corner for CHI who cannot seem to score. Penalty corner for USA who scored the second goal in the match seven minutes before the end. CHI earned a penalty corner and scored the first goal three minutes before the end of the match. USA MEN vs PARAGUAY: The tenth game of the day for men USA and Paraguay. The match has just started and USA has already earned a penalty corner which was saved by the Paraguayan defense. Immediately after the earned another penalty corner which opened up their score. Two minutes later USA gains another penalty corner and scores for second time. Ten minutes before the end of the first half USA earned another penalty corner and scored the third. Six minutes to the end of the first half and USA continues attacking. USA scored eight goals in the first half. The second half has started and USA has already scores a goal putting it to 9. The game is still in the hands of USA that is already winning 11 to 0. Seven minutes to the end USA scores goal number 12. Two minutes to end the match and two more goals were scored leaving USA in the lead by 14 goals. Less than a minute to end the match and USA is performing a penalty corner which ended in penalty stroke, ending the game by 15. Thursday, November 20: USA WOMEN vs PARAGUAY: The second match of this second day is USA and Paraguay women. Only two minutes into the game and USA has already scored the first goal. The game continued quite even until USA scored the second goal. Although USA is in advantage, there is not a clear advantage when it comes to scoring, as PAR entered the pitch with the attitude of attacking. This attitude is such that in minute 10 of the first half PAR scores their first goal. USA reacted and established the difference once more scoring their third goal. Penalty Corner for PAR, which was defended by the USA goalkeeper. The rest of the first half did not have many penalty corners and USA kept their rival in their circle although they could not establish the difference. The second half has started and there is no established difference in any of the teams. Four minutes into the second half USA gained a penalty corner, which ended in penalty stroke when the ball hit the arm of a player. The ball went in and USA is winning 4 to 1. Penalty corner for USA who defeated the goal scoring the fifth goal. Two minutes later USA manages to score the sixth and is establishing the difference. USA scored the seventh goal and there is ten minutes to go before the end of the match. PAR cannot get hold of the ball in this second half. Seven minutes for the end of the match and USA gains a penalty corner which ends up in penalty stroke, scoring their eighth goal. Once again from group play USA scores their goal number nine, and Paraguay cannot seem to react. Another penalty corner for USA, who scores goal number ten with four minutes to the end of the match. Penalty corner for PAR who could not use the opportunity to reduce the difference. USA recovers the ball and after their counterattack scores goal numbers eleven. USA MEN vs ARGENTINA:The game has just started and both teams are attacking. This is the last match of the second day. ARG managed to dominate the ball and opened the score in the first four minutes of the match. The match is very quick and none of the teams has complete power over the ball. Penalty Corner for ARG once again, and scored the second goal. Another penalty corner for ARG, who scored the third goal. Penalty corner for USA, but was unable to score as goalkeeper met the ball before entering. Penalty corner for USA, but was not lucky enough to score. Three minutes to the end of the first half and USA could open the score. Penalty Corner for USA, in the last minute of the first half but could not score. The second half of the match is on the way and USA has earned a penalty corner, scoring their second goal and getting closer to ARG score. ARG could not let that happen and as soon as they could they scored the fourth goal. The game has great movement because neither team will give up and they both have a very good game. Eight minutes for the end of the match and nothing is defined. Penalty corner for USA three minutes before the end of the match and they scored their third goal. Penalty Corner for USA when time of match has ended, but they could not score. USA WOMEN vs ARGENTINA: This is the eleventh game of the day and Argentina is playing with USA. Seven minutes into the first half and the score hasn’t been open yet. ARG had an opportunity to score but ended in penalty corner, the first of the game. It caused no danger for the US goal. The game is very exciting as both teams reach each others circles, and both have important chances of scoring. Only six minutes for the end and the score continues closed. Four minutes to go for the first half and ARG seems to be closer, even though USA is a very dangerous rival. ARG earned a penalty corner but could not stop the ball and lost an opportunity score. The first half is ending an USA earned a penalty corner. The second half started with a penalty corner for USA. opening the score with a marvelous shot straight towards the goal. ARG reached the goal and faced the goalkeeper losing the chance to score. Penalty Corner for ARG, which did not give them the opportunity of scoring. Five minutes for the end of the match and both teams are finding it difficult to score. Penalty corner for USA, which went just outside the angle. USA MEN vs MEXICO: This is the third men’s match of the day and its USA and Mexico, and after 3 minutes of the game started USA is winning by 2 goals. USA earned a penalty corner and scored their third goal. Although MEX is trying to defend itself, it is becoming very difficult for them to avoid the USA from scoring. The score remained the same for some minutes although USA is in constant attack. In the last three minutes of the game USA put another extra player and took out the goalkeeper. One minute to go and USA scores its eighteenth goal. Wednesay, November 19: USA WOMEN vs MEXICO: The first match of the day is between USA and Mexico women. Five minutes after the beginning of the match and USA scores their first goal. Although Mexico try hard, they cannot seem to pass the half line, and USA are managing the ball and score their second goal only thirteen minutes into the game. In the fourteenth minute, USA score for the fourth time. Mexico cannot seem to find their way around USA. Excellent midfield dominance on behalf of USA, giving them the opportunity of entering the circle and score their fifth goal before ending the first half. Six minutes into the second half and USA scores their seventh goal, continuously pressuring the Mexican defense. Mexico woke up in the last minute gaining two penalty corners only to end up in an eleventh goal for USA . USA MEN vs PERU: The third match of the day but the first of men is USA and Peru. The match has started 9 minutes ago and there has been no real danger for any of the two teams, the game has been quite equal, and mostly fought in the midfield. A ball was recovered by USA and driven by the side of the pitch which ended in the first goal in the match. The game continued quite even until USA scored a beautiful goal with the ball entering through the right side of the goalkeeper. USA seems to pressure much more but Peru manages the situation quite well although they are behind in score. With three minutes for the end of the first half Peru has gained a penalty corner and could score their first goal with a striking shot towards the goal. The second half has started very fast, giving USA the opportunity to score in the first 3 minutes of the second half. Once again USA pressures in such a way that manages to break the Peruvian defense scoring its fourth goal when 6 minutes of the second half went past. At this moment of the match Peru is being dominated by USA who gains a penalty corner, deflecting the ball way over the net. Peru is trying very hard to defend their goal but USA has gained another penalty corner, which was of no danger for Peru. This second half has been dominated by penalty corners giving USA the opportunity of scoring for the fifth time.
