2008 Junior Pan American Women's Tournament
October 5, 2008 - Katie O'Donnell and the USA Under-21 Women's National Team face Bermuda in the first day of competition in the 2008 Junior Pan American Tournament - Under-21 World Cup Qualifier. The Tournament runs through October 12 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Men's Indoor Squad Selections
September 25, 2008 - Selections for USA Field Hockey's Men's Indoor Squad have been announced. The Squad will travel to Germany from November 5-10 for a training tour.

2009 Olympic Development Selections Announced
September 17, 2008 - Rosters for the 2009 Olympic Development Selections have been announced. From the National Futures Championship the top 50 athletes were selected and invited to attend the Junior National Camp. The camp runs in conjunction with college level athletes selected from the High Performance Pipeline. Selection opportunities that exist from the Junior National Camp include the selection of the U21 National Squad, selection into Olympic Development Select, and performance evaluation for the U16, U19, and U21 Spring international tours.

2009 Futures Elite Selections Announced
September 14, 2008 - Roster selections for the 2009 Futures Elite have been announced. Futures Elite represents the top of the Futures Pipeline. Athletes selected to Futures Elite are considered the top 3% of the Futures athletes in the USA.

USA Field Hockey Introduces Development Program for Boys
USA Field Hockey announced the initiation of five field hockey development programs specifically designed for youth boys. Partnerships with affiliate members in Miami, Washington DC, Chicago, Colorado Springs and the San Francisco Bay area have been designed to identify and train young male athletes and build a solid foundation for Men's Field Hockey in the United States.

September 3, 2008 - Selections for the USA U21 Men's 2008 Junior Pan American Championships Team are now available. The Junior Pan Am Championships will be held at Port of Spain, Trinidad from October 13 - 27.

Women's National Team Concludes Series at the Netherlands
July 12, 2008 - The USA Field Hockey Women's National Team concluded their three game test series against the Netherlands with a 2-2 draw. Tiffany Snow and Angie Loty scored for the U.S. The matches in Holland against the number one ranked team in the world are the final international competition for the National Team before the Olympic Games.

Women's National Team Concludes Four Nations Tournament
July 6, 2008 - The USA Field Hockey Women's Field Hockey fell to host nation Germany 7-2 in the final day of four nations tournament play. Carrie Lingo and Tiffany Snow scored for the U.S. The team next travels to Holland for a three-game series with the number one team in the world, the Netherlands.

Mid-Atlantic, East Coast champions at MNC
June 29, 2008 - The Mid-Atlantic Blues and East Coast Juniors emerged as the respective senior and junior division champions at the Men's National Championship today. Today's finals capped the tournament at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. Following the tournament, Men's National Team Head Coach Nick Conway announced selections for the Men's National Team, Junior National Team, and U17 National Team.

USA FIELD HOCKEY ANNOUNCE 2008 U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM FOR WOMEN'S FIELD HOCKEY
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (June 23, 2008) – USA Field Hockey today announced the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team for Women’s Field Hockey selections, following the conclusion of the Women’s National Championship in Virginia Beach, VA. Sixteen athletes will travel to Beijing for the first U.S. field hockey Olympic Games appearance since 1996.

Worst to First: New England Takes WNC
June 21, 2008 - New England stormed past the top seed Midwest, 3-0, to take the trophy at the USA Field Hockey National Women's Championship and complete their worst-to-first turnaround.
